NAVĀRNAVA — from nava (new) and arnava (ocean) — is a modern, independent academic publisher. Our name captures our ambition: to be a new ocean for rigorous, open scholarship.
We publish scholarship that is methodologically sound, intellectually honest, and genuinely useful to those who research, teach, and practise law and allied disciplines. Each NAVĀRNAVA journal is edited by scholars with deep expertise in its field and is committed to a transparent, double-blind review process.
NAVĀRNAVA is the parent banner for a growing family of journals. Today it comprises two titles, with more to follow:
We welcome original research articles, case comments and judgment analyses, review essays, commentaries, and book reviews.
Editorial decisions rest solely with each journal’s editorial board and are made on the basis of academic merit, originality, and relevance — never commercial interest. NAVĀRNAVA supports its editors with infrastructure, standards, and ethics policy, and does not influence the acceptance or rejection of any manuscript.
The end-to-end editorial workflow for every NAVĀRNAVA journal — submission, blinded review, revision, and decision — is operated on EditorialManas, a dedicated editorial-management platform. This gives authors real-time tracking, reviewers a structured scoring workspace, and editors a complete, auditable record of each manuscript’s journey.
Licensing and access model to be confirmed (e.g., open access under a Creative Commons licence with authors retaining copyright). This section will state the final policy once set.
We are building our editorial and reviewer community. If you would like to contribute as an author, serve as a peer reviewer, or join an editorial board, please get in touch or register on the editorial portal.
